We’ll work together to build a humanist wedding ceremony that’s personal, meaningful, and true to you. From tone and structure to the little details, I’ll guide you through choices and keep it simple.

What I offer

As a wedding celebrant, I write every ceremony from scratch—no templates. The ceremony is shaped around your relationship, your values, and what you want to share with the people you love.

What’s included

We’ll start with a relaxed consultation to get to know you and your plans. I’ll then draft your ceremony script and share it with you so we can refine it until you’re happy to sign it off. If you’d like, I can help with vow wording and include readings, music, rituals, and contributions from friends and family. On the day, I’ll lead the ceremony with calm direction so you can relax and enjoy it.

Make it personal

Whether you want something romantic, light-hearted, or a mix of both, we’ll set the tone together. The goal is a non-religious wedding ceremony that feels natural, inclusive, and unmistakably yours.

From first chat to “I do”

Enquiry + quick call — You tell me your date, venue/town, and the vibe you want (relaxed, funny, romantic, etc.).
Planning session — We talk through your story, what matters to you, and how you want the ceremony to feel. I’ll help with structure, wording, and ideas.
Script + sign-off — I draft your ceremony (including vows if you want help), share it with you, and we refine it until you’re completely happy.
On the day — I deliver the ceremony confidently and calmly, guide guests through it, and keep everything running smoothly.

Can we make the ceremony fun and light, not formal?

Yes. We’ll set the tone together — warm, modern, and as fun as you want. If you’d like humour, audience involvement, or a more relaxed style, we’ll build it in.

Can we write our own vows (and can you help)?

Absolutely. You can write your own vows, use a mix of personal + traditional wording, or have me help shape them. We’ll make sure they sound like you.

What can we include in a humanist wedding ceremony?

Anything meaningful to you — you can add personal elements like how you met, key milestones, family mentions, vow wording, and any small rituals or moments you want to include. I’ll help you choose what fits and keep it flowing naturally.
